On March 13th, the GIFS Team headed down to Jackosnville, FL, for their first series of its Filmmaker Forum, a free inspiring event of dialogue and connection amongst the industry and enthusiast alike.
Speakers Included:

Adam Madrid, Film Production Coordinator for the City of Jacksonville, discussed the logistical aspects of film production and the importance of community and collaborative support in the filmmaking process.
We kicked off the evening with a panel discussion with our Executive Director, Pryce May, moderating, where each panelist had the opportunity to shed some light on the industry and how their position played a pivotal role to the industry for aspiring filmmakers and filmmakers looking to grow. As you know, we believe in supporting local business, which is why CICADA Coffee Co catered this event with some delicious bites (you just had to be there.). We ended the night with intentional networking and conversation, sparking ideas for future events.
